Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use (hereinafter “Terms”) govern the use of the migra-pc.com site and the Migra-PC application. Any use of the service implies full acceptance of these Terms.

2. Service description

Migra-PC is a Windows software and online service allowing private users to back up their files, bookmarks, installed software and browser passwords, and then restore them to a new computer. The service is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Sign-up

Sign-up is open to any natural person of legal age, capable of entering into a contract. The user undertakes to provide accurate information and to keep their email address up to date.

The login and password are strictly personal and confidential. The user is solely responsible for the confidentiality of this information and for any activity carried out from their account.

4. Recovery phrase

The user is solely responsible for keeping this recovery phrase in a safe place (password manager, paper in a safe, etc.). Due to the zero-knowledge architecture of the service, MFT Andorra LLC cannot under any circumstances recover a lost phrase or regenerate access.

5. User commitments

The user undertakes in particular to:

• comply with applicable laws and regulations, and in particular not to use the service to back up illegal content;
• not attempt to access other users’ accounts or to harm the service;
• not resell, sublease or commercially exploit access to the service without written authorization;
• respect the technical limits of their subscription plan (in particular the number of devices).

6. Intellectual property

The Migra-PC software, source code, website, brand and logo are the exclusive property of MFT Andorra LLC. A personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable user license is granted to the user for the duration of their subscription.

Files and data backed up by the user remain their full and exclusive property.

7. Suspension and termination

MFT Andorra LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the service in case of:

• persistent non-payment (see Terms of Sale);
• violation of these Terms or of the Terms of Sale;
• suspicious activity on the account;
• manifestly abusive use of the service.

Prior notification will be sent to the registered email address, except in case of emergency (security).

8. Service modification

MFT Andorra LLC reserves the right to evolve the service (interface, features, technologies) in order to improve it. Any substantial modification will be communicated to users by email.
